More About Me
I am a fully qualified French and Spanish teacher with a Masters degree in Translation & Interpreting Studies from The University of Manchester.
As part of my undergraduate degree, I spent a year abroad divided between Peru and the South of France. I soon came to realise the demand for language tuition was high and thus, my teaching story began.
I now have 8 years experience offering private tuition in French, Spanish and English as a Second Language to KS2-KS4 students, both online and in-person. Alongside tutoring, I have spent 5 years working as an MFL teacher in various independent schools internationally.
My love for languages comes from my passion for bridging cultural gaps and making communication across borders more accessible and enjoyable.
Helping individuals get excited about learning languages and motivating them to set and reach their goals brings me so much joy!

I have an enhanced DBS check.

Teaching Style
My philosophy is that each student is unique and must have a stimulating educational environment which caters to their needs. I apply an immersive teaching style to my lessons where students are active in their learning process and apply their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in the target language, as much as possible, to develop fluency, understanding and correct pronunciation. Lessons are complemented with exposure to GCSE past papers in order to increase familiarity with exam format and techniques.
Why Languages?
Not only are languages fun, they can open up plenty of opportunities to travel and work abroad, meet new people and explore a variety of cultures! And if that wasn't enough, studies show that being able to speak more than one language has an extremely positive impact on the brain and can help to maintain cognitive functions longer than someone who only speaks one language.
